Personally, I am a big fan of reality shows of Bravo TV.( I know some people might say I have a NOT special taste, but whatever.. it is FuN!!!^^) I have repeated watching numerous shows such as Project runway, Top chef, Make me a supermodel...You name it.
Since last week, Bravo TV has released an 1-minute campaign which catchphrases the " Green is Universal.". In this campaingn many bravo tv's stars, who are Tim Gun, Lee Ann Wang from Top chef 1, and Jesse Brune from Work out, are sharing thier experience and tips for keeping our nature being Green. Not only in the TV show, also in the webpages of Bravo TV.com we can see the people's idea and solutions that we can think and practice in everyday life.
The reason why I think the Bravo TV's green campaign is effective is that it is about our life and nature. Most tv shows in Bravo tV is about people's interests such as food, fashion, job, exercise..etc. Things that we enjoy watching are very relevant in out personal interests, and we want to experiece that the people in the TV shows. It is a practical fantasy from the TV shows. Therefore, the things the celebrities and famous people in the show want to share with our life look cool and it is actually cool. We might have thought the people who make a lot of money and have so much possession don't care about what they spend or what they throw away, but I have watched from the shows and knew that this is not true. For me it is awesome and desirealbe that the people in the shows-actually they're competetors and kind of masters in thier field, so what they do is powerful to persuade people who want to be like them- because it has corrected my thoughts of what I eat, how I wash the laudaries, and why I should work out. According what they show us that having a well-being life is not neccessarily fancy, but it is important to response to our nature.
It might just be a show, however, we all know and experience the incredible power that media has and effects in our lives. So, it is very upright that media has a righteous purpose and idea about what it is showing to nation-wide people. In that media-wise Bravo tv has been doing wonderful event about environment. As the Bravo tv's catchphrase says, our lives should be awareness, activation, and results in the relationship with our nature.

The article : Global Warming and Infectious Disease
Since I have decided my research topic about the relationship between the current spreads of vector-born diseases and global warming, I focus on the certain articles that explain the biological and scientific effect of global warming to the life and condition of organisms. The article I want to introduce and share the contents is " Global Warming and Infectious Disease" written by Dr. Atul Khasnis and Mary Nettleman.
The article explain thoroughly that hoe the global warming and climate chage impact has impact on worldwide health condition. The major components of life which are water, food, and the migration have changed dramatically because of the tendancy of increasing temperature. The huge number of people are facing the shortage of those living components and the accesses to satisfy the components. Moreover, this shortages and difficulties have also impacted on the spread of vector-born diseases.
The article says the increasing temperature itself helps the viruses to mature shortly and cover the larger areas than in lower temperature, and also climate or haman living condition chage due to the global warming accelerate the occurance of unusual outbreakes of vector-born viruses.
There are many vector-born and infectious diseases threat human health seriously such as malaria, WNV(West Nile Virus), and dengue fever which are carried by vectors that mosquitoes, arthropods, and rats, or the warmer and polluted water and soli are also a big factor as vectors.
According this article the relationship between viruses and global warming is very complecated and related in many matters of human life. It worsen the health condition of people who have the poverty and the lack of medical accesses. Therefore, it is not the only problem of human health, but it is also the political and economical issuse that concerns people in the world.
It is very helpful article to me because I learned that our health is also exposed in danger of global warming and it is very neccessary to prevent it from further damege of viruses. The information in this article is clear to organize and support my research paper. I hope I can continue to find other helpful articles for my research paper.

Inconvenient Truth : Be Responding!
While I was watching the film, "Inconvenient Truth" by Al Gore, I had a deep appriciation for the chance and timing of that I could not forget the message from the our mother nature. The film gave me more powerful impact than the book I've been reading.
As a matter of fact, we are all witnessing what's going on aroud us. Yet we are all complaining the hotness of summer, soggy feeling of rainy day, and shoveling work of snowy night, how often we think back the functions of environment around us? Or, might we believe the nature is already set up for us and that never changes its kind characteristic to humen?
What I most felt scary from the film was the disaster of hurricane Katrina. It reminds me the nonstop-40days-and-nights flood in the Genesis in the Bible. According the bible, God let the flood to punish the people who forgot the God's rules and love. After diminishing all people and life forms except Noah's family and the couples of each creatures, God gave the new nature to us. It was the promise that he will never destroy the world by such a thing.
The nature is love given to human, but it is also a rule to share our lives in it. When the relationship between love and rule is broken, we must account for that because as mentioned above, the nature should be the everlating present from God, but we are destroying it to satisfy our greeds which is impossible to be satisfied. Al Gore said the global warming and the terrible outcomes are the moral, ethical, and political issues. I totally agree with his opinion. To conceptualize the moral and ethical problems, it deadly requires the political action. And that can be the total reaction of the ultimate society of human beings from what we are facing now.
I think the politician can be either people working in the White House or ourselves. We are nonfamous politicians who can see the world more objectively than any others. We are resposible to show our actions to the politicians who forgot the real meaning of political service. If the we provide proper recation to nature as same as we have gotten from nature, we could be proud our life when we get in the heaven, and most importantly, we would not face any catastrophe in our lives because of not responding to it.

Living As A Miracle Generation
In the Bible, we can see many people who lived with remarkable blessing in the miserable condition. Even though the condition given to them was so harsh, they confirmed their faith more stronly and did incredible thing with the gifts from the God. And we call it that's a Miracle.
I hope I am the Miracle Generation in this world. I want to be the person who follows the right things while everybody doesn't follow. That is the purpose from God who is the complete and righteous creator of this world.
